Performance/Application

● BAEROSTAB MTS 1200 is a liquid methyl tin mercaptide, which meets the composition and purity requirements of European regulations as stabiliser of rigid PVC for food contact.

● BAEROSTAB MTS 1200 is suitable for extrusion and calendering of crystal clear and pigmented rigid films and blow-moulding of bottles, as well as for injection moulding of pressure fittings.

● BAEROSTAB MTS 1200 imparts good initial colour and colour hold. It also provides approximately 10-20% greater heat stability than Octyl tin mercaptide stabilisers, depending on applications and formulation.

● As this product has no lubrication action, it must be used together with suitable lubricants.

Dosage range

BAEROSTAB MTS 1200 may be used in the manufacture of food packing materials. The maximum permitted dosage is 2 phr.

Storage & Logistics

Dry storage at room temperature is recommended. Once opened, packaging should be firmly closed.
